LIMITED OPENING

With the improvement in weather, we will be open this evening. However, we are short on volunteers, so there may be some waits. We appreciate everyone's patience, as our volunteers do their best to operate. It takes a team of 15-18 volunteers every day in December to operate effectively... tonight there will be nine of us, all with smiles on our faces, and a commitment to offering the best experience to our guests.

We do it because witnessing the memories and traditions made at our little festival are so rewarding, and play an immense part of the magic of the holiday season.

AFOLS is an independently funded, non-profit, volunteer run organization, and we appreciate all the help we can get!

Situated in the heart of Nose Creek Park in Airdrie, AB, we are Western Canada’s largest, free, outdoor walk-through Christmas Light Display.

In 1996, the Airdrie Festival of Lights began with a group of local residents committed to putting Airdrie on the map. That group grew over the years to become the Airdrie Festival of Lights Society (AFOLS), which has continued to operate the Festival.
